Figures: a fast shape matching game of Yes or No
Figures is a shape matching game that tests how quickly you can compare what you see with what you read. Colored shapes appear on the board, each with a short description of its form and color, and you answer one question: does the text match the object? Squares, circles, stars and triangles come in six colors, so the mismatches can be subtle.

How to play
- Sign in with your free Cleverini account and start Figures in Single player or Multiplayer mode.
- Read the question at the top of the board.
- Compare each shape with the words next to it: check both the form and the color.
- Tap Yes if the description fits, or No if anything is off, before the timer runs out.
What it exercises
A shapes and colors game with a simple rule, which makes it a clean attention game: apply the rule quickly and without slips.
Attention to detail
A violet star labelled as a blue star, or a red square called a red circle, only differs in one word, and you have to notice which.
Processing speed
Each question runs on a short timer, so you practise reading and looking almost at the same time.
Self-control
It is tempting to answer after one glance at the color, and holding back until you have also read the shape name is part of the challenge.
Tips
- Check the shape first and the color second, always in the same order, so you never skip one of them.
- Orange and red, or violet and blue, are the pairs most likely to trip you up. Take a half-second longer on them.
- Read the whole label before you look up; half-read labels are where most wrong answers come from.
- Keep your thumb between the two buttons so either answer is one short move away.
- Warm up in Single player before a Multiplayer match; the rhythm of read, look, tap comes quickly.
